i just got done reading practicaly all of my live journal entries and came to the conclusion that i am a loser. i sat here for an hour reading all of them. but it made me relise who some of my real friends are. some of the people that stuck by me through thick and thin. for this i am greatful. all of my friends are just plain awesome. i never want to leave this scene or this town.
i think the scene all started for me at school my freshman year. i started hanging out with brad turk, tom oldham, jerad heglin, jade, ayla, gene, and others. started going to shows around town. mostly at the botanical center. seeing such bands as argos, eatf, dws, bap, mbxs, creepy kids, among others. started meeting new people, more than i could handle. i never knew there could be so many cool people in one town, in one coffee shop. this all started happening for me when i was 15. im 18 now. alot of those friendships have grown weak and weathered, as where some have grown stronger and fortified.<--- not sure what that word means.
ive been in a handful of bands from 15 to 18, probably more than that of which someone of 3 years in the scene should be. starting with Big American Party, this was the band i was in that started me off. then came Driving While Stupid. then a small band called Janitors of the Apocolypse, not too many saw us. then along came George Lassos the Moon, this is the band in which ive made the greatest friends one could hope for, we're still practicing working on new songs just wait. and now last but certainly not least is my latest project, The Rusted Roofies, this band i decided to do primarily for my brother, he is the singer of the band, but now i do for the music and the friendships built.
this is quite honestly my longest update ever, i hope you all read it, i hope you all enjoy it, and i hope i get to hear back from all of my friends of however many years, i love you all verry much (and no this isnt a suicide note)

a batman kite blocks the ultra- violet rays of a summer once past.
a distorted vision of a child dawned in looney toons and levis
a sea of the greenest grass seemed as if it would engulf this child, swimming in the abyss of chloroplast, exaulted with his new batman kite.
an afternoon spent with joy seemed ellusive as the streetlight flickerd on overhead.
the shades of lavender citrus and fire permeated the afternoon hoirzon.
a child stares lone at the celestial hues of a gloaming sunset.
it was and illumintating manifestation how content he was...
fast-track one decade this same child, a child still at the age of eighteen, oppressed not by "the man", not by authority, nor a higher being, but rather by ones self. brought down, unable to repose, due to insomnia, but vital signs remain
a malicious car wreck couldnt bring his spirits down.
this child, in whom i am speaking of cant be brought down without a fight. at the cost of a broken leg, and broken nose, he could not be brought down. at the cost of broken ribs, punctured lung and a lacerated hand, he could not be brought down.
even at the cost of a broken neck,
I WILL NOT BE BROUGHT DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT. |

i would like to thank all my friends who came to visit me in the hospital, that was very nice of you and i think it helped me recover.
for those of you who dont know i was in a car accident recently and broke my leg, broke my nose, and punctured a lung. thats the worst of it there were other little things but thats the major part

my new band is playing a show in one month. its on october 16 at around seven in my friends basement. 1-2 dollars. on the bill there is my band "janitors of the apocolypse". thats about it for now were hoping to have sh666 play and one more band. if anyone from sh666 reads please let me know if you want to play.

so last tuesday me and bob were on our way back to school from the mall because we had a little extra time. so on our way back we got stopped up at a light behind two cars which typically isnt that big of a deal to me but today we were going to be late back to class. so were at the red light and the old lady in the first car gets out and walks back the the old person in the second car and has a little chat. thats when the light turned green. i had to yell at the senile bitch so she would get in her car and go. and after i was done yelling i layed on the horn until i got turned onto south union. when we did get back to school we were more than five minutes late so we decided not to go to class. then we decided we would go to east and walk around the building. when we got there we saw valerie dustin colon erin nikki alex and this kid i went to weeks with. after that we went to central accademy and while we were walking around we were stopped by this big black lady while we were going up some stairs she then took us to the campus pig i mean cop and he took down our info, bob being the rocket scientist he is gave the cop his id card while i said i didnt have one. so they asked my name and number. i told him my name was brian johnson and gave him a buncha bullshit for the rest of the information then we just went back to school and that was that.
that was a hella big update for me probably my longest.
